The Role of Allied Healthcare Professionals in Community-based Healthcare Symposium
To strengthen Hong Kong’s primary healthcare system, the Government released the Primary Healthcare Blueprint in December 2022. Physiotherapists play a vital role in primary healthcare. We are excited to announce that the Hong Kong Physiotherapists' Union (HKPU), along with the Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists (HKSPO) and the Hong Kong Radiographers' Association (HKRA), will be organizing a first ever Joint Healthcare Professionals symposium on 11 October.
With the support of our co-organizers, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Saint Francis University, and Tung Wah College, we aim to enhance understanding of our roles and promote communication among allied health professionals.
