Invitation to a Train-the-trainer Session for the Training Resources to Enhance the Sensitivity of Medical and Healthcare Professionals Towards Sexual Minorities

The Government has been committed to promoting equal opportunities for people of different sexual orientations and transgenders with a view to fostering in the community the culture and values of inclusiveness, mutual respect and non-discrimination. A training resources for medical and healthcare professionals is developed to enhance their sensitivity towards sexual minorities. Attached please find the background information and a set of training resources for your reference. Chinese version of the Training Resources is available upon request.
To facilitate better understanding of the training resources, we are going to host a train-the-trainer session for the medical and healthcare sector on 26 July 2019. Through this train-the-trainer session, we aim to provide an overview of the teaching method suiting the different training needs and settings of your organisation. Details of the train-the-trainer session are as follows:-
Date: 26 July 2019 (Friday)
Venue: Committee Room 1, Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai
Target participants: Trainers/ Staff involved in staff training and development/ Medical and healthcare professionals who are interested in this subject
Your assistance is sought to nominate and arrange staff from your organisation to attend the train-the-trainer session. We should be most grateful for your nomination (with names and post titles of nominees) by completing the attached enrolment form and return the form by 22 July 2019.
