Course Announcement: AIMS Approach for Cervical Disorders
HKPU is honored to have Mr. Alex Wong Kam Wah, who is the founder of AIMS approach, to conduct a comprehensive workshop on the assessment and effective treatment for commonly encountered musculo-skeletal cervical disorders, such as acute wry neck, cervical headache or dizziness, first rib syndrome and cervical spondylosis.
AIMS approach is uniquely derived from modern acupuncture, Chinese medicine, Maitland, Bobath and Cranial Sacral Therapy. They are found highly effective for musculo-skeletal dysfunctions.

Mr. Alex Wong Kam Wah obtained his Physiotherapy Registration in 1992 upon his graduation in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He had worked in various settings of the Hospital Authority and has successfully pursued the Professional Diploma in Acupuncture, BSc in Chinese Medicine, MSc in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) and is also a Registered Chinese Medical Practitioner. He’s now a private practitioner.
Based on his extensive clinical experience and integrated knowledge and skills, Mr. Wong has developed AIMS approach which is found effective in treating various musculo-skeletal conditions commonly encountered in physiotherapy.
